There are a lot of new singles released! Besides jpop, I’m gaining interest in kpop too~ Well here are the singles or albums released:
1. YUI:
My Short Stories (11/12/08)
This is YUI’s best of the best album. This album will have YUI’s new single I”ll be which is going to be the champaign song for Sony Walkman [Play You.] The limited edition one will have a DVD which contains video clips and also some live performances!! I want it but its expensive and i have all the songs already except I’ll be. What should I do????? BTW: If not mistaken, I think this is going to be YUI’s last album before she takes a 1 year break. Singers do need rest you know~ We’ll really miss her (T.T)
(T.T) I have to save up more money to buy it…. With the crisis going on, its going to be hard to buy the album… I have to prepare to lose big bucks….. not to mention I just bought Younha’s [Someday] album and SHINee’s first album [SHINee World]…….MUST PRE-ORDER THE CD BEFORE TOO LAte….
2. Yanawaraba:
Nagi Uta
These Okinawan girls have released their Second album. Haven’t had the chance to buy it… I’m really eager to buy it but it costs a lot for an album without a DVD attached…. I’m a big fan of their music style and the shamisen but its costly so I just have to wait until I save up more money. [Present] is their newest single to be released November 02, 2008. 3. RYTHEM:
Incredible duo RYTHEM released their new album titled ‘23′ on October the 1st!!!! ARGGGHHHH Another album I have to buy…………. There is bitter&sweet!!! The online only song that I have been desperately searching for it. I have to really save up now. WHY?????? i REALLY WANT IT… what should I do….. Anyways.. THE album did quite well on the oricon charts! it actually got into the top 20 and was number 18!!! here is the track list:

4. Ikimonogakari:
This time they released 2 singles. First is ‘Planetarium’, released on October 15, 2008. I love the song!!! The song is great and the video clip is very cute. Another single they are going to release is called ‘Kimagure Romantic.’ I hope this single will turn out great and please…. don’t release an album yet.. I can’t afford anymore……..
5. Angela Aki:
The long awaited Angela Aki has returned! She released the single titled ‘Tegami-Haikei jugo kimi he.’ The song shows Angela’s piano playing really well. Her singing is also accompanied by children’s choir which makes an additional bonus to the already-great song. It was released on September 17.
6. Aragaki Yui:
Any Kobukuro fans? Personally I like some of Kobukuro songs, especially if they collaborate with Ayaka (Anata to BTW is another single they just released on September 24!). Well Aragaki Yui is going to release her new single titled ‘Akai Ito’ on October 15. Hmmm does the title remind you of any song title? She is doing a cover of Kobukuro’s song. I like her voice in Heavenly Days and was okay with Make My Day, this time, I have to admit the song is good and it sort of fits her voice. Kobukuro’s akai ito is more softer, slower, more folk and relaxed than Aragaki Yui’s. Hers is like folk rock. What am I saying. Anyway just try and listen to it.
8. Fukuhara Miho
I knew I would love her songs!!!! After Change, Himawari then this!!!! Her new single Yasashii Aka. Simply Love it. Its a great song!!! Another masterpiece! No wonder Corrine Bailey Rae praised her! Her voice is stunning and the song itself is great!! A must listen!!!!!!!! The single will be released on 11/05/08! Wait for it!!!
9. Okamoto Rei:
WOw she is progressing really fast. It’s her third single already. I haven’t heard it yet… Expecting it to be a great single. I really missed her in the nicola magazine…. Haven’t heard it yet so I will probably go back to this post and edit it later. It’s a double A single titled Renai Hoteishiki / Chizu ni Nai Basho. It’s going to be released on the 22nd of October! -edited- okay I’ve heard Renai Hoteishiki. I have to admit her singing isn’t the best but I actually like the melody. I liked her better as a model because now she’s all bubbly and… I don’t know.. just different. She even dyed her hair and used extension……(doesn’t me I hate people with dyed hair and extensions, just that I like Okamoto Rei as a model better)
